What counts as an active role?+
A role is active once you send us a JD, request sourcing, or hold a kickoff call. Active roles bill a 15-hour weekly minimum.
How do we stay aligned during a search?+
We kick off every search with a kickoff call and send you a written progress report every Friday with pipeline updates and next week's plan.
How do I pause or stop a search?+
Email us. Suspensions and terminations take effect at 5:00 PM Friday of the week we receive the notice.
Can I cap the hours per week?+
Yes — caps are honored when confirmed in writing by Altera via email.
How are you different from a contingency agency?+
Contingency agencies bet on placements and charge 20–30% of first-year salary. We charge $85/hour for the actual recruiting work, so your cost is transparent and typically much lower.
